O'Byrne Looks to Improve
The following article featuring former Cornell standout Ryan O'Byrne appeared in the September 21 issue of the Montreal Gazette.
Canadiens defenceman Ryan O'Byrne turned in his best performance
of the preseason in last night's 2-1 loss to the Boston Bruins and
he had a simple explanation for his quickness on the ice.
"I lost so much weight I felt fast out there," he explained. "It
was a hot, hot building and a lot of guys were saying they lost 10
pounds out there."
Whatever the reason, O'Byrne turned in a solid effort as he
continued his battle for one of the top six defence spots.
