Another Trip to Semifinals for Cornell

ALBANY — With the decades-long success of the Cornell hockey
program, and the high expectations Big Red fans put on the team,
it’s often said if Cornell doesn’t reach the ECAC
Hockey semifinals, it’s a disappointing season.
In recent years, it’s almost become expected of the Big Red,
winners of 11 ECAC playoffs titles, that they reach the title
game.
“Yeah, that’s the goal,” said senior defenseman
Taylor Davenport. “The goal is to play there Saturday night.
That’s what the plan is.”
