Ryan O'Byrne said Gregory Stewart is one of his best friends. But
that didn't stop O'Byrne from laying a lick on Stewart during the
second day of scrimmages at the Canadiens training camp in
Brossard. The hit came moments after O'Byrne had spun Matt
D'Agostini around like a rag doll and sent him crashing into the
boards.
'I'm out here to win a job and there are no friends out here
anymore," says defenceman Ryan O'Byrne (left), practising with
teammate Guillaume Latendresse last year.
O'Byrne, 25, is looking to get his career back on the rails after a season that started with promise and ended with a seat in the press box.
