Cornell Off to a Powerful Start

ITHACA -- Early on, the third-ranked Cornell men's hockey team knew it was going to have to rely on its power play.

With four of its five players returning to the top unit from last season, the Big Red figured it would be good. Just not this good.

Three games in, the Big Red's power play is the best in the nation -- scoring on eight of its 18 power-play chances (44 percent).
