Iggulden Signs with Dinamo Riga
Dinamo Riga (KHL) announced today the signing of former Cornell standout Mike Iggulden.
A two-time American Hockey League (AHL) All-Star, Iggulden joins Dinamo Riga after spending the 2008-09 campaign with the New York Islanders organization. Iggulden played 11 contests with the Islanders, netting one goal and four assists. He played in 72 games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, compiling 25 goals and 41 assists.
Iggulden, 25, played 78 games during the 2007-08 campaign with
the Worcester Sharks, scoring 29 goals and 37 assists for a
career-high 66 points, tops on the Sharks. The Cornell University
graduate totaled 81 goals and 90 assists for 171 points over three
seasons with San Jose's AHL affiliate.
The native of St. Catharines, Ont., was recalled by San Jose for
his first career NHL game last season on Feb. 18 against the
Islanders.
