Award Caps Memorable Year, Career for Barlow

Evan Barlow, a former player with the UFA Bisons, took home Cornell Universitiy’s Men’s Hockey MVP award in his final year with the Big Red program.

“It was a pretty huge honour,” said Barlow. “I was really honoured to receive this award.”

The Nicky Bawlf Award is handed out annually to the team’s Most Valuable Player and is voted upon by fellow teammates and coaches. Barlow, a 23 year old native of the Gleichen area, received his award at the university’s annual awards banquet on April 17.
