Big Red Readies for Big Weekend

The men’s hockey team heads on the road this weekend as it
faces its last opponents of the semester before heading into winter
break. Tonight, No. 7 Cornell faces Rensselaer before competing
against Union tomorrow night.
“These two games before Christmas break are always big games
… you want to go on break on a positive note. We are 5-2 on
the league with a great opportunity to continue,” said head
coach Mike Schafer ’86.
Coming away with a tie against Boston University at Madison Square
Garden last weekend, the Red (6-2-1, 5-2-0 ECAC) has demonstrated
its strengths and talent that it hopes to further develop in future
games.
