Cornell Players, Fans Savor Night in the Garden

For all the sights and splendor Madison Square Garden offered on
Saturday night, the highlight for most of the Cornell men's hockey
team took place in the recesses of the venerable venue.
Being the home team on the scoreboard this time around for its
game with Boston University meant the Big Red got to use the New
York Rangers' locker room. A unique experience became even better
when Cornell learned of an interesting tidbit.
As Cornell was preparing for the game, a Rangers equipment manager
came in and said that Joe Scali was sitting in the last locker
Wayne Gretzky used as a player before retiring after the 1998-99
season.
