Kennedy's Return Re-Energizes Cornell Offense

ITHACA - It didn't take long for Michael Kennedy to make his presence felt.
The junior center missed three games after taking a shot to the head from Colgate's Brian Day in a game on Feb. 1. The Big Red was just 1-2 with Kennedy out of the lineup, scoring just five goals in those three games.
"It's obvious that we miss Mike," Cornell coach Mike Schafer said prior to last weekend's games. "We miss him on the penalty kill. We miss him on the power play. Five-on-five, he's been one of our best players."
