Feature: Blueliner a Hero to Sharks, Frat Boys

The following article featuring former Cornell standout Douglas Murray appeared in the April 12 issue of the Calgary Herald.

By Scott Cruickshank
Calgary Herald

Douglas (Crankshaft) Murray, defenceman of the San Jose Sharks, is a lot of things:

- Swedish-raised -- born in Bromma, grew up in Stockholm.

- Scottish-named -- with that handle, he should be throwing lead stones in Ayrshire. (His mother, by the way, prefers the formal Douglas, because Doug, with a Swedish accent, sounds too much like Dog).
