ITHACA - Meet the odd couple.

And not entirely because they're goalies, which - as most hockey players will attest - are a completely different breed.

Goalies Troy Davenport and Ben Scrivens are reunited as the Cornell hockey team's last line of defense as the Big Red kicks off its 2007-08 season on Saturday against RIT at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester.

One plays a technical style, the other takes advantage of his size and reflexes. One is talkative, the other quiet. One is American, the other Canadian. And in their freshmen seasons, they even roomed together on road trips.
