Smith has Put Disappointments and Injuries Behind

After the abomination that was last season, there is a certain astonishment for Austin Smith about how it’s all turned out.
The senior forward for the Colgate hockey team has emerged from the shadows of a difficult year that included hip surgery to become the No. 1 goal scorer in Division I.
Smith has 24 goals — four more than the next closest player — and is leading the Raiders in a bounce-back season.
