Day Loaned to Wheeling
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced that former Colgate forward Brian Day has been loaned to the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL.
Day, 23, will be skating in his first game action this season after suffering an injury during training camp. The first-year player made his pro debut last spring with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, recording two goals and three assists in three games.
Day was a four-year letterman at Colgate, where he totaled 110 points (54g-56a) in 149 contets.
