Andy McDonald missed his 24th game of the season Wednesday night with yet another concussion.

The 33-year-old centre with the St. Louis Blues has been through this before, so many times that he's lost count. But he has hope that the new Cascade M11 helmet may allow him to avoid such an injury in the future when he returns to the National Hockey League team's lineup.

"It's comfortable, but other than that I don't know much about it," said McDonald following just his third skate with the team since suffering a concussion against Edmonton on Dec. 4. "Somebody introduced it to me, suggested I might give it a try because it's supposed to help with concussions so I'm trying it right now. But I'm not sure I'll stick with it."
