After Summer Buildup, McDonald Ready to Get on Ice

After sitting out the Blues' first two exhibition games, both victories, Andy McDonald is ready to get on the ice tonight.
McDonald will be one of several Blues' regulars making their preseason debut against the Minnesota Wild, a list that includes Alex Steen, Jason Arnott, T.J. Oshie and Jaroslav Halak.
"There's been a lot of buildup to (the season)," McDonald said. "It feels like August is just so slow. There's so much off-ice stuff and practicing ... now you get into games and it makes you realize you're a little bit closer to Game 1. I'm looking forward to it."
