McDonald Gets Back on Ice (with Video)

Blues forward Andy McDonald skated Wednesday morning before the team's practice, a sign that he's taking steps to return to the lineup after a concussion Dec. 3.
McDonald skated for about 40 minutes in what was believed to be his first practice session since the injury. He will miss his 21st consecutive game tonight when the Blues face the Detroit Red Wings.
Though it remains unclear when McDonald could be back with the Blues, his return to the ice perhaps signals that he has passed the baseline test and that his post-concussion symptoms have disappeared.
