Reign Acquire Fredricks
ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, announced today they have acquired former Colgate defenseman Jason Fredricks in a trade from the Utah Grizzlies for future considerations.
Fredricks, 23, has appeared in 21 games with the Grizzlies this season, recording three points (2g, 1a) and four penalty minutes. The Eagle River, Wisconsin native played four seasons with Colgate University (ECAC) from 2005 - 2009 before making his professional debut with the Providence Bruins (AHL) in 2009. Fredricks spent last season in South Carolina (ECHL), recording ten points (1g, 9a) and 12 penalty minutes in 23 games with the Stingrays.
