Colgate to Face Army in Cape Cod Classic
HAMILTON, N.Y. – For the second-straight year, the Colgate men’s hockey team will be taking on Army at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center in the Cape Cod Classic on Oct. 22.
The game time is set for 7 p.m. and the contest became possible once again with the help of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, the Hyannis Days Inn and Red Jacket Resorts.
The Colgate Athletic Ticket Office has announced that tickets for the Cape Cod Classic are on sale to the public. Tickets will be $12 for adults and $8 for children. All seating to this game will be general admission. Last year’s matchup was sold out, so fans are encouraged to reserve their seats prior to game time.

1.) Calling the Colgate Athletic Office at (315) 228-7600
2.) Come to the Colgate Athletic Ticket Office, at Reid Athletic Center, to purchase tickets from Monday thru Friday from 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm.

Last year in the inaugural Cape Cod Classic, the Raiders defeated Army by a 3-1 score in front of a sold out crowd at the Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. Memorial Skating Rink inside the community center. It was the first-known Division I hockey game at the tourist destination and also featured a ceremonial puck drop by Jack Riley, who was the long-time Army coach and led the USA to the gold medal in the 1960 Olympics.
Season tickets can be purchased today by calling the Colgate Ticket office at (315) 228-7600. The full schedule for the 2011-12 season will be released next week.
