The Ottawa Senators could be short-handed for tonight's game against the Calgary Flames.

In addition to defenceman Matt Carkner, who has missed the past three games with a lower-body injury, Jesse Winchester and Daniel Alfredsson are limping.

Winchester's injury is the more serious of the two. He hurt his left knee in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks and could be gone for a couple of weeks. The exact severity of the injury won't be known until the team returns home from the current road trip, but it's not a day-today thing, coach Cory Clouston said.
