Binghamton Signs Sloane
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have signed former Colgate defenseman David Sloane to a professional try-out contract.
Sloane, 26, joins the B-Sens from Elmira where he registered one assist and 12 penalty minutes in 18 games played with the Jackals this season.
The 6-4, 220-pound defenseman appeared in 20 games last season with the Adirondack Phantoms, garnering an assist along with 23 penalty minutes. Sloane also skated five games with the ECHL’s Kalamazoo Wings in 2009-2010, registering two assists.
A native of Ambler, PA, Sloane played four seasons (2005-09) at Colgate, collecting 23 points (ten goals, 13 assists) in 129 career games for the Raiders.
