A Bruising Day for Day

WILKES-BARRE TWP. – Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins winger Brian Day’s performance in Friday’s preseason matchup against the Hershey Bears was similar to the start of his pro career last season.
After completing his career at Colgate University, Day scored a goal and an assist during his first two games with Bridgeport in the AHL and added a fight along the way.
On Friday, Day registered a goal and a fight and fell an assist short of completing the Gordie Howe hat trick as the Penguins defeated the Bears 5-2.
