Fredricks Signs with Idaho
BOISE, ID – Former Colgate defenseman Jason Fredricks has
signed with the East Coast Hockey League's (ECHL) Idaho Steelheads,
head coach and director of hockey operations Hardy Sauter
announced.
Fredricks, 23, appeared in 23 games last season for the South
Carolina Stingrays. He scored one goal, handed out nine assists,
and had 12 penalty minutes in that stretch. He put up 41 points (10
G, 31 A) in four seasons at Colgate before turning pro in 2009,
when he skated in five games for the AHL’s Providence
Bruins.
