For more than a week North Vancouver goalie Mark Dekanich has been sitting mere inches away from every hockey-loving kid's dream of playing in the NHL.
He's literally sitting there, called up Dec. 3 as the backup goalie for the Nashville Predators after starter Pekka Rinne went down with a knee injury.
