Colgate Prepares for Annual Food Drive

HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Colgate men’s hockey team will be hosting its annual food drive for the Hamilton Food Cupboard this Friday night against Brown.

Considering this is the final weekend prior to Thanksgiving, the Raiders are accepting all non-perishable food before the game. Canned food items and other non-perishable food items will help replenish the stock at the Hamilton Food Cupboard, while the toys will be handed over to the Interfaith Holiday Council, which will then disperse the items to families within the Madison County limits.

Fans who bring two food items to the game on Friday night against the Bears at 7 p.m. will receive one free general admission ticket.

On Saturday against No. 5 Yale, it will be the chance to buy tickets for the Nov. 27 game at the Prudential Center against Cornell. Visit the Colgate ticket office or call 315-228-7600 to reserve your seat.

Also a reminder that the men's hockey team will be spreading holiday cheer throughout Madison County next month when Colgate hosts Niagara on Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. at Starr Rink. The Raiders will be accepting toys for its annual toy drive for the Interfaith Holiday Council. More information to follow prior to the game with the Purple Eagles.
