Doyle Decides Upon Riessersee

Former Colgate standout Kyle Doyle has signed a contract with Riessersee (Germany) for the 2010-11 season, the team announced July 2. Doyle spent the past four seasons with Hannover (Germany), and has spent his six professional seasons competing in Germany.

A native of Sarnia, Ontario, the former Raiders forward scored 23 goals and added 22 assists in 51 games last season. The offensive output marked the lowest totals for Doyle in six seasons overseas. In his four seasons with Hannover, Doyle amassed 121 goals and 166 assists in 199 games. His best campaign came in 2008-09 when he totaled 89 points, including 35 goals, in 53 games.

Prior to joining Hannover, the 29-year old Doyle spent two seasons with Peiting, tallying 110 points in 72 contests.

From 2000 through 2004, Doyle represented Colgate. He skated in 138 games, scoring 36 goals and setting up 53 goals. Doyle's top offensive campaign was his senior campaign as he scored 13 goals and added 15 assists in 39 contests.
