Efforts May Give McIntyre His Due

TROY -- Most sports fans have seen the ESPN commercial in which Red Sox slugger David Ortizbriefly dons a New York Yankees cap, much to the angst of the Boston mascot.
David McIntyre had a similar experience Saturday night.
McIntyre, who played for four seasons at Colgate, was forced to don an RPI practice jersey -- as did his Albany Devils teammates -- for warmups before an American Hockey League exhibition game against the Adirondack Phantoms atHouston Field House. There were some name errors on the game jerseys, which had to be corrected before opening face-off.
