If we've heard the story once, we've heard it a hundred times.
A boy is born in England. His family moves and he grows up in
Italy. He comes to the U.S. and goes to prep school, making the
hockey team. After two years, he is asked to switch positions. He
does so well that he earns a scholarship to a Division I college
and becomes a pro prospect.
On second look, there's nothing all that common about Phillips
Exeter Academy defenseman Thomas Larkin.
