INCH A to Z: Francois Brisebois
The following article featuring Colgate forward Francois Brisebois appeared August 3 on the InsideCollegeHockey.com Web site as part College Hockey A to Z.
You can't learn how to spell before you've mastered your A-B-Cs. Turns out that's the best way to preview the college hockey season as well. For the sixth year in a row we present Inside College Hockey A to Z, an alphabetical look at a player you need to know from all 58 colleges in Division I.
Inside College Hockey A to Z continues with profiles of one of the nation's top offensive players who will carry an even bigger role for the defending national champs and an emerging forward from Colgate who will be looked upon to support another All-American forward.
FRANCOIS BRISEBOIS
Colgate
Jr. | F | Montreal, Quebec
Key Statistics: Brisebois played in all 37 games
for Colgate as a sophomore and had seven goals and 17 points on the
year. It was a modest spike from his 10-point freshman campaign.
Four of his seven goals came on the power play.
What He Does: Brisebois was recruited as a good
skater and highly-skilled player and spent most of last season on
one of Colgate’s top two offensive lines. He finished the
year by scoring three points in the last two games of
Colgate’s playoff series at Quinnipiac and was playing on a
line with Ethan Cox and Austin Smith. All three of those players
will return to Colgate this year and will be expected to provide
offensive support for All-American David McIntyre.
