In a matter of a few days or weeks, senior Dustin Gillanders' hockey career at Colgate will be over.
Then the fun will really begin.
Gillanders, a fourth-line grinder, will, as usual, spill every drop of sweat he has in his 6-foot-2, 215-pound body to help his Raiders sneak by top-seeded Clarkson in an ECAC quarterfinal series this weekend. If that doesn't pan out, Gillanders has literally worked himself into a position to have myriad options.
