Everblades Regain Services of Beca
ESTERO, FL -- The Florida Everblades announced that former Clarkson forward Matt Beca has been reassigned to the Everblades by the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League.
Beca returns to the Blades after posting an assist in seven games played with the Checkers in his recent call up. Beca registered 20 points (9g, 11a) during the month of the December, while totaling 28 points (10g, 18a) in 31 appearances with the Everblades this season. Last season, the 5-10, 181-pound forward registered a 50 point season with Florida scoring 22 goals and 28 assists.
In 2010, the Mississauga, Ontario native appeared in five games with the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League scoring one goal, following his four-year collegiate career at Clarkson.
