Beca Gets Call to Charlotte
Former Clarkson forward Matt Beca, who has recorded at least one point in game during the Florida Everblades’ six-game win streak, was recalled Tuesday by the Charlotte Checkers.
Beca made his debut with Charlotte Tuesday in the team's 2-0 loss to San Antonio. The appearance marked his debut with the Checkers since originally signing with the team prior to last year.
In 31 games with Florida this season, Beca has 10 goals and 18 assists. His 28 points are a team-high. During Florida's six-game win streak, he has six goals and two assists.
Beca began his professional career in the American Hockey League with Springfield in 2010. In five games with the Falcons he had one goal.
