Conroy on Waivers, Future with Flames Doubtful

Craig Conroy's third career with the Calgary Flames would appear to have come to an end.
The National Hockey League club placed the personable 39-year-old on waivers early Tuesday morning.
General manager Jay Feester said he wouldn't comment on the move until the end of the 24-hour waiver period but it's believed the veteran centre may have asked for the move, possibly for the purpose of retiring.
