Cole Shows it Can Pay to Dream Big

Erik Cole has learned a lot of valuable skills during his 9-year NHL career, including the importance of knowing your audience.
He unveiled another dimension in timely fashion last week.
Cole was conducting one of his first mass interviews with the rabid Montreal hockey media, who will be tracking his every move because he signed a 4-year, $18-million free-agent deal with the Canadiens earlier this month. Cole, 32, took a few years of French in his high school days and remembered enough to give a brief answer in that language.
