POTSDAM — Tonight will mark the fifth straight time the Clarkson University men's hockey team has faced a team ranked in the top 20.
But the 7 p.m. matchup with top-ranked Yale (15-2 overall, 9-1 ECAC Hockey) will also mark the biggest challenge of the season for the Golden Knights (11-8-2, 5-3-1).
Clarkson had last weekend off after a stretch of opening the calendar year with two games against No. 5 Minnesota-Duluth and then road games at No. 14 Rensselaer and No. 12 Union. Clarkson went 1-3 in those games.
