ANAHEIM – The Ducks were still in need of a playoff spot to clinch on the final weekend of the regular season, and Todd Marchant was at home nursing a bad case of the flu and hoping that he had more games left with the team.
"It was tough," Marchant said Friday before Game 2 of the Ducks' first-round series against Nashville. "I'm good now."
His teammates delivered consecutive victories over the Kings, and now Marchant is playing in his fifth postseason in six years with the Ducks after many quality years in Edmonton and a short, unsatisfying stint in Columbus.
