Blight Returns to Reading
READING, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that former Clarkson forward Chris Blight has been returned to the Royals from the Hershey Bears of the AHL.
Blight, a sixth-year pro from Cambridge, Ontario, was loaned to Hershey on February 6. He played in five games for the Bears, picking up an assist and two penalty minutes. He has played a total of nineteen games in the AHL this season and registered seven points (1g-6a). Blight has twenty-nine points (9g-20a) in twenty-three games with Reading.
