McFeeters Remains with Kaufbeuren

ESV Kaufbeuren (Germany) announced Sunday that it has agreed to terms on a contract extension with former Clarkson standout Rob McFeeters, the 2000-01 ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year, that will keep him with the team in 2011-12. McFeeters has spent the past four seasons with Kaufbeuren.

McFeeters entered the 2010-11 campaign on a one-year extension with Kaufbeuren, and produced 39 points, including 11 goals, in 43 regular-season contests. He was held scoreless in four playoff games.

In 44 games in 2009-10, McFeeters tallied 44 points, including 12 goals. He added three points, including a pair of goals, in six playoff contests.

In four seasons with Kaufbeuren, McFeeters has registered 88 goals and 160 assists in 186 contests.

Prior to joining Kaufbeuren, McFeeters spent three seasons in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL), splitting time with Atlantic City and Fresno. Competing in 151 games, McFeeters compiled 29 goals and 47 assists.

A native of Orillia, Ontario, McFeeters appeared in 127 contests with the Golden Knights from 2000 through 2004. He scored 33 goals and set up 57 goals, including a personal-best 15 goals and 30 points as a freshman.
