Reading Welcomes Return of Blight
READING, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that former Clarkson forward Chris Blight has been returned to the Royals from the Portland Pirates of the AHL.
Blight was loaned to Portland Tuesday and played to a plus-1 (+1) in the Pirates 3-2 shootout win over the Hershey Bears last night. A sixth-year pro from Cambridge, Ontario, Blight has 40 points (15g-25a) and 36 penalty minutes in 33 games with the Royals this year.
