Express Acquire Freeman

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors and Head Coach Matt O'Dette announced that the team has received former Clarkson forward Scott Freeman and defenseman Matt Campanale from the Chicago Express to complete the deal that sent Bobby Robins to the Express last month.

Freeman, 23, played four seasons at the collegiate level for Clarkson before finishing the 2010-11 campaign with the Victoria Salmon Kings. In six games with Victoria, the 5'10", 180-pound forward tallied two goals and three assists for five points. 

 At Clarkson, Freeman was the Golden Knights' leading rookie scorer his freshman year (16 points), received Clarkson's Richmond Unsung Hero Award as a sophomore, became team captain his junior year, and was fifth on the team in scoring as a senior (19 points). For his career, Freeman played in 133 games with 28 goals and 60 assists for 88 points.
