A Class Act

In just three games as a professional hockey player, Scott Freeman is starting to turn some heads.

The 23-year-old forward from Whitby, Ont., joined the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL last week on the road against the Alaska Aces. He then scored his first ECHL goal on Wednesday during Victoria's 9-2 victory over the Utah Grizzlies.

"I have been really impressed with Scott,'' said Salmon Kings coach Mark Morrison. "It is not easy to come into a team at this time of the year, but he has adapted very quickly. He is a real smart hockey player and he is only going to get better.
