Griffins Return Rufenach to Toledo
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League (AHL) on Thursday assigned former Clarkson defenseman Bryan Rufenach to the ECHL's Toledo Walleye.
Rufenach, 22, skated in three games with Grand Rapids after being recalled on Nov. 21. The Barrie, Ontario, native recorded an assist in his AHL debut versus Hamilton on Nov. 23. He returns to the Walleye, where he sits second among ECHL defenseman with seven goals while tying for eighth with 11 points.
