The difference between Willie Mitchell and Manny Malhotra is that a few dozen stitches patched up Mitchell's left eye, while Malhotra is fighting to regain the vision in his.

Mitchell got a Kyle Turris puck to the eye on March 3 in a game against Phoenix and the resulting scar forms a cresent around his eyelids, starting at the orbital bone and arcing up around the bridge of his nose and under his eye-brow.

“What's the difference between me and Manny?” Mitchell said on Thursday after the Los Angeles Kings held their gameday morning skate. “Luck, right?
