White Assigned to Connecticut
NEW YORK -- New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen
Sather announced today that former Clarkson forward Todd White has
been assigned to the Connecticut Whale of the American Hockey
League (AHL).
White, 35, has tallied one goal and one assist in 18 games this
season. He registered his first point as a Ranger with a goal vs.
Atlanta on October 27. He recorded his first assist as a Blueshirt,
while shorthanded, in a 3-0 win at New Jersey on November 5.
White made his Rangers debut on October 18 vs. Colorado, and has
been a healthy scratch in 19 of the team’s 37 contests.
The Kanata, Ontario native was acquired by the Rangers on August
2, 2010, from Atlanta in exchange for forwards Donald Brashear and
Patrick Rissmiller.
