Latulippe Becomes a Star

Following their impressive win against Cardiff Devils last night Dundee CCS Stars' fans have been given an added boost as the club announced the signing of American forward Jay Latulippe, a former Clarkson standout.

Jay has played in the Elite League for the past two seasons when, with Cardiff Devils, he amassed 39 goals and 70 assists during that period. The 5ft 11ins, left winger from Saratoga, New York has also played in North America's Central Hockey League and East Coast Hockey League.

Coach Dan Ceman said of his signing, "Jay brings a lot to the team. He has proven he can score goals at this level and he is also a fiesty player that will stand no nonsense. He also takes up good defensive positions so he will be a big asset to the roster. He also has great experience of playing in this country and that is important for us. Few of our signings have had the experience of playing in the Elite League and it's been a bit of a learning curve for them. We don't have that with Jay."

Latulippe is expected to arrive in Scotland within the next two weeks as he is currently awaiting his work permit being granted.
