Back at the dawn of time, so long ago that it predates Iginla, (yes, iPod generation, there was such a such a period in history), a group of rumpled, rotting media hacks sat around one fine winter's day trying to stave off the customary practice boredom by selecting, of all things, an All-Time Calgary Flames' Good Guy Team.
A team where statistics and name reputation and tax bracket didn't count for squat. No dressing room politicians, whiners, self-glorifying promoters or pampered brats permitted in this group.
Just down-to-earth guys you'd feel comfortable hoisting a beer with or leaning over the fence and borrowing a Weed Whacker from. Adults in a privileged toy box world who could be counted on to be honest, accessible and respectful.
