Clark Setting the Tone

Chris Clark did not impress during training camp. The veteran Blue Jackets winger did not look quick or spry enough to get to loose pucks or win puck battles. Is feeble too strong a word?
Clark was scratched the first two games in Sweden. But since he went into the lineup in the third game of the season he's been increasingly effective. Last night, he was a driving, darting, determined beast, and he set the tone for a long-awaited, much-needed victory in Nationwide Arena.
The final score was 2-1, and a small but throaty crowd of 11,727 seemed fully relieved and entertained.
