Huskins Named to All-Decade Team
Former Clarkson University Hockey standout Kent Huskins was named to ECAC Hockey’s 2000s All-Decade team. A talented all-around defenseman Huskins was named to the All-Decade second-team. He played in 135 games for the Golden Knights from 1997-2001.
During his four-year career with the Green and Gold, Huskins helped to lead Clarkson to 86 victories, two ECAC Regular Season titles, a conference tournament championship and two showings in the NCAA Tournament.
The Almonte, ONT native was a 2001 Hobey Baker Finalist and a 2001 All-American along with being named the ECAC Best Defensive Defenseman in 2001. Huskins was also a two-time First-team ECAC All-Star (2000, 2001). He scored 78 points on 15 goals and 63 assists for the Golden Knights.
Currently playing in the National Hockey League with the San
Jose Sharks, Huskins was a member of the Anaheim Ducks 2007 Stanley
Cup Champion team.
