NEWARK, N.J. - NHL debuts are always memorable, at least to those making them.
Defenseman Grant Clitsome's stood out more than most. He was involved in a slew of big plays, good and otherwise, in the Blue Jackets' 4-3 overtime loss March 2 to the Vancouver Canucks.
Recalled from minor-league Syracuse, Clitsome had two assists in the first 18 minutes, was on the ice for five goals and committed a turnover in the waning minutes of the third period, leading to the Canucks' tying goal.
