D'Alvise Earns Promotion

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Edmonton Oilers and San Jose Sharks, announced center Chris D’Alvise, a former Clarkson standout, has been loaned to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League on a professional tryout agreement (PTO).

D’Alvise, 24, will make his AHL debut this weekend by entering the lineup. Springfield hosts Hartford today at 4:30 p.m. and will visit Syracuse on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound pivot was a National Conference All-Star last year, named recipient of the Thunder “Rookie of the Year” award and in 80 career games in a Thunder uniform, has scored 84 points (44g-40a) and totaled 50 penalty minutes in two seasons (2009-11).

This year, his 17 points (10g-7a) in 12 games leads the Thunder, ranks tied for sixth in ECHL scoring and his ten goals is tied for fourth in the league.
