Karpowich Experiences Highs, Lows in Two Short Weeks

POTSDAM — Clarkson University sophomore Paul Karpowich was
named the ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week less than two weeks
after experiencing the worst outing of his college career.
Karpowich was the starter in an 11-2 loss at Union College on Feb.
5, but has responded with three solid outings.
Last weekend he finished with 51 saves on 55 shots for a .927 save
percentage as the Golden Knights broke an eight-game losing streak
with a 4-3 win over Princeton and a 4-1 victory against Quinnipiac.
