POTSDAM — Clarkson University sophomore Paul Karpowich was named the ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week less than two weeks after experiencing the worst outing of his college career.

Karpowich was the starter in an 11-2 loss at Union College on Feb. 5, but has responded with three solid outings.

Last weekend he finished with 51 saves on 55 shots for a .927 save percentage as the Golden Knights broke an eight-game losing streak with a 4-3 win over Princeton and a 4-1 victory against Quinnipiac.
